KITTI layout dataset

Description

This dataset consists of 323 images from the Kitti dataset (Road detection challenge) and corresponging layout groun-truth. We initially evaluated the layout from a single image (ECCV 2012 paper) and now it has been used for evaluating the Unuspervised color transformation (IV 2015). Ground truth is in png single channel format (1: road, 2: vertical, 3: sky).

Image Annotation Tool

Description

This image annotation tool permits fast polygon annotations in images for different objects and different users. Annotations are stored in 'xml' format at the same file location. Code includes matlab functions to read the masks and generate corresponding binary images. The original idea is to analyze the impact of having different users annotating the same image as described in the ITSC'08 paper. More details can be found in:

Skin Detection using (learned) Photometric Invariants

Description

We perform skin detectin for face detection on the Caltech face database consisting of 450 frontal face images of 27 or so unique people. Qualtitative evaluations can be found in our related publications and the ground truth for the evaluation can be downloaded below. If you use this dataset please reference any of the related papers.

Description

This database addresses the need for experimental data to quantitatively evaluate emerging road detection and photometric invariant algorithms. These images were captured using an onboard camera mounted on the windshield of a moving vehicle. The main challenge is dealing with lighting variations and shadows. The database consists (right now) of two sequences acquired on the same scenario at different daytime and under different weather conditions. The first sequence was acquired at noon of a sunny day. The second was acquired in the morning after raining. The camera is a Bumblebee (stereo pairs will be available soon) working with fixed parameters. Road groundtruth has been manually generated.
